ಕಳೆದ 70 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ವಿ. ಕಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲಾಯರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು
ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ
ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ
ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳ ಬಗೆಗೆ
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವೊಂದನ್ನು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

Sri B.V. Kakkilaya turns 90 in 2008. As a tribute to his 70
years of struggle with the masses and his services as a freedom fighter, leader
of the Communist Party of India, leader of the Karnataka Unification Movement,
Member of Rajya Sabha and Karnataka Legislative Assembly etc., it is
proposed to have the following programme from May 31 to June 1, 2008 at Mangalore,
to deliberate on the challenges facing the present generation in the
contemporary political and social scenario.
