Dr. Harish Kakkilaya is a surgeon now working
at Philadelphia, US. He passed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College and
then his MS in general surgery from TN Medical College, Bombay. He
passed his FRCS in 1998. He married Dr.
Harshila on the 27th of February 2000. Dr. Harshila is a paediatrician.
She did her MBBS at Pune Medical College and then her MRCP in
paediatrics.
The couple have
two children, Rohan and Ananya. They are now
living in New Jersy, US. |

Stopping the Bride for a
'ransom'!
Harshila is stopped at the door to
the Kakkilayas' House by her elder 'sisters' - Bali and Hema.
Traditionally, it is the sister of the groom who stops the bride and seeks
an assurance that the to-be-born daughter of the newly weds will be given
in marriage to her son! |
